C is for.. conjunctiva

So I have a viral eye infection.  My conjunctiva is inflamed.  It looks really gnarly. 

Medically defined.. " The conjunctiva is a thin membrane that covers the inner surface of the eyelid and the white part of the eyeball (the sclera). "

It stings a little right now, and the white of my eye is tinged a little yellow.  Just gotta wait it out.  In quarantine. 

Don't rub your eyes, folks. 

b is for .. banh mi!

Ahahaha.  Banh Mi! ( I knew I would go back to food. ) 

I did not ever have one of these until I was 23.  Sad days. 

SO much better than subway.  only like 3.50 each about.

so.  what is it? 

do you buy it?  is it consumed?  where does it come from ?

Loosely defined as a sense of helping others with no anticipation of reward or benefit. 

Is anything truly altruistic?  Would not the altruistic person decline any benefits from such actions? 

i'm skeptical of it's existence.  but is that really a bad thing?  nature has its own parallel.. symbiosis.
